Georgi Margaritov is a lawyer and construction professional with nearly twenty years of industry experience, combining practical expertise with specialist knowledge of construction and administrative law, public procurement, contractual matters and construction project management. In addition to his law degree, he holds a vocational apprenticeship certificate and a professional qualification in bricklaying. His approach is therefore grounded in legal theory and contractual practice, as well as a practical understanding of construction methods and on-site delivery.

He has worked in construction since 2006. His career spans legal practice, construction entrepreneurship and the development of major public infrastructure projects. From 2019 to 2020, he served as a lawyer at the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic, advising on the legal aspects of transport infrastructure development and delivery. His responsibilities included land acquisition and property rights, contractual matters, the development and review of internal procedures, public procurement and dispute resolution, including representation in court proceedings.

His professional experience also includes carrying out the statutory functions of the building authority at the Prague 22 Municipal District Office. He understands permitting and other administrative procedures from the perspectives of developers, investors and advisers, complemented by first-hand experience of applying construction law and the Code of Administrative Procedure within public administration. This experience gives him insight into documentation requirements, the assessment of development proposals and the procedural framework governing administrative decision-making. In his advisory work, he draws on this knowledge to identify permitting risks at an early stage and develop approaches that meet both legal requirements and project needs.

His advisory practice focuses on construction and administrative law, construction project development and delivery, public procurement procedures and construction contracts. He also specialises in the FIDIC Conditions of Contract, their application under Czech law, and the management of variations, claims and disputes arising during construction. He also serves as an arbitrator.

Alongside his professional and business activities, he teaches social science subjects and regularly participates in specialist conferences, seminars and continuing professional development.
